Yep, and at Coningsby (also in the UK) there are these adorable little hangars.  They're like baby-hangars.  Too cute :)
Yeah those are cool, and different.

Btw that's an awesome countryside around that airport!That's where I'd like to go if I went on a trip to the Eastern Hemisphere.

What I'm trying to figure out is how they operate with so many grass landing areas at all these airports (there's so many!).  I thought it was damp there all the time?  Wouldn't that make the sod soggy?

:) Look at Leeds. There's passenger planes on each side of the 14/32 runway, opposite direction (obviously one moving around to exit... but still cool to look at).

As for the grass runways, soggy runways can be a problem.  I was doing a little reading on this because I got curious too.  I suppose a well built grass runway would be slightly raised, compacted soil, and a well chosen and maintained grass that handle rain waters the best.  Or you can just get these:
