It is really too bad too, Cy Homer was a great guy and Cactus did a great job on the skin.

well whatever works. your skins are neurotically detailed precision executed well done skins and its a loss to the community for them to be lost in the mix with bad skins that get constantly spammed at htc

I've waited so long (2+ years) for 'Uncle Cy's Angel', I realize now that it may not even be in the game when my 8 week old son starts flying Aces High.

Personally, I'd rather see my metal Jandina replaced by another 80th natural metal bird.  Cactuskoolers' skins make me drop jaw and drool!

I think Airmess's 38J, though a really old skin, has aged fairly well, more importantly it actually represents a FG involved in the current scenario - so I'd recommend leaving that one in.  Or have them pull my 479th FG Swanee Jr - I'm not so pleased with how that one turned out.

I think the extra shine really mutes a lot of the effort you put into weathering. I've run into similar problems myself. It's the strange way the materials.txt affects the final display of the bitmap.

I can't comment enough on how really good skin are languishing while ones without weathering, proper colors, or even muting of really bright paint continue to exist in Aces High.

I really wish they would rotate some of the older and less attractive skins out to make room for better ones. You don't need to be Krusty to see the huge difference in how much better some of the newer skins look.

Just noticed your part of the skinner team as well Cactus. Congrats on that your work is deserved of the title. Nice work on you recent upgrade. I see what Krusty is saying I guess it just depends on if you like them shiny or grimy. Either way they both look great.
