it seems Avast has problems as I am getting trojan warnings an gamebooster and enditall and lots of people have problems after recent update

I actually haven't installed the update that just came out but my AVAST still said the hi res pack was Adaware.

reading that thread I linked, Avast is completely hosing some peoples computers if they let it scan. I have uninstalled it and will wait for a resolution

Just turn it off,download and install. If it still goes apeshat when ya get it installed you can tell it that everything is frosty.
