more realistic LVT/C-47 troops

they should really make more realistic troop skins instead of pilot skins for the LVT/C-47 like helmets fatigues and garands instead of flight suites and colts   :airplane:  :old: semper vigilans

Well it's not like they didn't let people that had permanently stuck out arms join in combat with .45s, that wouldn't be fair to them if they stayed at home!

Absolutely, I truly don't see why they changed it.  And if Skuzzy was like any other intelligent skinner I know, he probably still has the code for those troops stashed away somewhere!

seriously what would be the point.  most of the time we cant see the troops close and personal.  it would be like making the leaves on the trees more realistic, you cant see them from the airplanes.

+1 If you don't care, can't see the point to this and its already been posted that's they already had the skins created then why object? Step out of the the way of those of us who do want this. It won't matter to you and won't be a hardship or waste of resources, just a matter of setting the skins back in place.  :salute

I mean really, why do people make the argument of "What is the point of 'insert wish here'?"?  :headscratch:

The reason that I loathe it is, that if applied ad infinitum, one can conclude that:

1.) What is the point of having realistic GV skins, as they are not often seen

2.) What is the point of noseart, since you can barely see it on planes

3.) What is the point of playing AH2, since it obviously sucks up resources

Therefore, what is the reason of attempting to dismantle a wish if you truly don't care whether it is fullfilled or not?

The answer is actually a fundamental fact of human behaviour: we always try to tell others not to do whatever it is that they want to.  The same rule applies to wishes.

To finish my point; to post something on a forum requires a basic level of care about the subject, and therefore to post that one does not care about the topic at all is a contradictory statement.

The pilot in IL2, Pacific Fighters, runs and all...... I made a stupid movie back when... but it shows the potential as a Troop by adding a helmet. I would be clueless how to do any of it but it does look cool. Sorry you have to watch the who thing to see him bail after the landing. (fast forward)

that reminds me of the american pie song.

let me rephrase what, is the point of having realistic looking drunks when we need so many other things.  new planes, new gv's even better looking bushes than dont flip your gv.  these you see more often than the drunks.  also if you post a wish, you also wanna have input on why it would not be a good idea.  after all most good "wishes" are refined untill they become some awesome wish that everybody wants and must have.  and then again, some other are just wishful thinking.
