For all you 109 nuts out there...
« on: December 16, 2009, 04:30:23 PM »
I stumbled on this site after googling 109 tactics.  Its translated from Russian to English and covers tactics to be used against the 109 by Russian pilots.

Good reading.  Enjoy.

I call BS, they actually told their guys to be careful about attacking head on and described better ways of fighting?  I guess they had no BBS access so they never got a clue  :O

the only required reading Soviet plane enthusiasts need in game as in real life is "bailing out 101" and "the parachute is your comrade" by Yolag Zerigofrski  :devil

Besides, it must be remembered that the Me-109 can only hold the maximum airspeed indicated above for no longer than 1 or 2 minutes in horizontal flight, as their engine overheats and causes the coolant to boil.

Amazing, just like AH  :noid

Great article, thank you.  Our 109s turn much better than the 20-21 second full circle they state in the article.  Then again, their 109F was completely bugged if it only did 347mph TAS.

And what happened when I stated that AH needs an option for engine management?

Sounds fishy to me.
