Karaya, the problem is I have know clue of what you're talking about.  :)

Whatever traumatic ordeal you went through and are posting about now has no meaning to me, maybe because I wasn't there or it was so insignificant that its not worth remembering.  Either way it happend in a cartoon game with people you don't even know.  Now If this incident took place face to face in you're own home I could see why you would be scared for life but this is some BS game.  Its not really worth getting all emotional about something, whatever it was, that happend ages ago and has no real bearing on you're life.

I just find it pathetic that when ever these AvA related threads get going either you or shuffler always chime in with the "Ya Know JG54 ruined the AvA"

You brought up JG 54... they have cleaned up their act except for a few loose ends.

Again.  You're wrong, I never said "Ya know JG54 ruined the AvA" in this thread, so that is taken care of and dismissed.

As to the "event", you WERE there and probably don't remember and I do NOT hold JG54 accountable.  Only the Moderator who has his "own agenda" and has no business being a Moderator.

I'm not losing sleep over it.   However that issue needs to be addressed and it isn't being addressed because that is the "status quo".

I've attacked no one from JG54 in this thread, the Community can prove my typed syntax.   As for "Karaya, the problem is I have know clue of what you're talking about" and then slinging personal attacks, leaves one to wonder some things as well.

Well the 3 aircraft setup and no real GV spawns with uncontrollable CV's and a 8,000ft max alt due to downdraft is not appealing to me.

this is a WWII Sim ain't it... I'll go fly an F4u or P51D in the MA like everyone else.....
Yesterday was a blast 109's Vs La's and Yak's were fun... the new room doesn't make me want to jump in. I waited all day for it and now im done waiting ill go do something else untill we get a better room. how about some more eastern front or GB Vs JP. ANYTHING but 3 US aircraft Vs eachother!

Hitech says it is not a WWII sim.

If you need more alt to cover you... it might not be for you.

Last I checked, not everyone was in ponies or hogs in the MAs.

Actually, if you see a F4U, there's most probably a CV nearby, in which case there's not that much to choose from.
In pure land-based battles, Hogs are relatively rare.

Well, they run different set ups each week or so.

This one is different but still an event from history,  and should be a lot of fun. Check back often and fly when one appeals to you.

The wind and icons that disappear on the deck actually make the game more interesting.

1. we all know that its a game not a WWII sim. but imo axis vs allies room should have axis aircraft available.
2. 3 U.S. aircraft vs 2 U.S. aircraft for 1 whole room is a waist of a room.
3. an 8k alt cap is silly no matter what.
4. i was under the impression thr room was trying to get people in it, not drive them out. who wants an axis vs allies room with f4u4's vs. f4u1 and p51's?? that sounds more like the DA than anything else.

im just saying what i see... no way could i get my squad in an empty room to "ferball" f4u's all day long. or even more than a flight or two.

I'll just fly the F4u4 at 200ft and watch as the other side killshoots eachother not having tags :aok (3 F4u's fighting witch one is the bad guy lol)

All I ask is that you keep in mind that we want people to want to come back.

Thank you, Jimson, I think this is key.  For some bewildering reason, every time an AvA thread starts it gets diverted to a "why I hate the AvA" theme.  It would be one thing if the new folks were the ones saying that - see, for example, some criticism of the current Soccer Wars setup, which is understandable and which was considered by staff before we chose it.  But most often it's veteran players who are nursing some grudge from months, or even years ago.  I can understand why someone might not want to fly in the AvA, but it is very difficult for me to comprehend why someone would want the AvA to fail.

So I suggest we all remember our mothers' advice about saying nothing if you can't say something nice.
