Overrated game is less overrated than the pro bowl.
Yeah the Pro bowl, now that's an overrated game, it's almost like touch football cause they don't want to hurt anyone.

Yep...is not fun watching the defense pretty much snap then shake hands with the O line.

I find watching football to be excruciatingly dull and boring.  Almost as bad as NASCAR.

I mean c'mon!!

-Kickoff, some guy gets tackled

-They huddle for 20 seconds

-Then run a 5s play.

-Then they huddle for 20s again, then they call a 1 min timeout

-Commercial break.

-15s huddle

-Then run a 6s play.

-Then the referees spent 5 min reviewing said play

-Commercial break.

-Then they huddle for 20s

-Then run a 1s play which is stopped by a flag.

-Then the referees confer for 3 min about were to place the ball.

-Commercial break

-Then John Madden yabbers on incoherently for 7 min, while he scribbles on your TV screen.

-Next commercial break.

-13s huddle

-Then they run a 8s play, and someone is injured

-Then there is a 12 min medical timeout, and John Madden speaks in tongues some more.

And you've been watching the game for 45 min and only 8 min has run off the game clock with only 45s of actual action.  Watching football is about 8% action, and 92% large men in tights standing around hugging, and slapping each others butts, and blabbering commentators wearing horrifically gawdy ties.

Admit it WATCHING FOOTBALL IS BOOOORIIIIIIIING!!!!! :bolt:

Although I may tune in for the halftime show cause I am a big fan of The Who, only wish they could re-animate Keith Moon for this one. :aok

Have to agree commercials are way too much but that is how the NFL makes money. Commercial, kickoff, commercial, a few plays, commercial, punt, commercial...more commercials than there are plays. :P

If you don't like Superbowl Sunday you need your man card revoked.

:rofl :rofl  I don't need a card to tell me I'm a man.  I'm pretty sure as long as I still have at least one testicle I'm OK in the man department.

What if your a eunuch?  Is this "man card" you speak of something they carry in lieu of certain organs they're missing.

No, not really.

Men and Superbowl...just kind of go hand in hand.

> 80% of the worlds men (all those outside North America, and even some here like me) would disagree with you.

Explain how eating junk food and drinking beer/soda, while watching an insanely slow-paced and boring game, makes you more of a man.

Perhaps all that lack of activity, and junk food will make you a bigger man, speaking literally. :lol

I don't have a problem with football fans, just the ones who associate being Super Bowl Sunday couch potatoes with their manhood.

Well in my case my dad and I go out and throw the football around for a couple hours when we wake up, I end up going to a friends house with a few others and we do some 3v3's and 4v4s, then my dad and I normally watch the game in the hottub, not eating much at all. So in theory I lose weight not gain.  TY have a nice day
