US. beat swiss 2-0.  HUH, must took a day off or something.

Actually the swiss team is backed by a fantastic goalie and several highly skilled players.

That game was alot closer than the 2-0 score would lead you to believe,I think the swiss team was/is the surprize of the Olympic hockey and they deserve some sort of "proxie" award. :aok

For a team that wasn't regaurded as a "A" class team they put up a tough fight against what will eventually be the Gold and Silver medal winners.

Yeah I couldn't believe they left him in there too, I thought for sure when they came back out for the 2nd period that it was over for him.

Did anyone stay up to watch that Sweden Slovakia game, it was kinda weird, Slovakia scored it's first 2 goals exactly 37 sec apart, then Sweden scored it's first 2 goals exactly 37 sec apart, what are the odds of that.

Apparently the Russian coach has a philosophy where he sticks with the goalie he starts regardless... And apparently his record was nearly spotless (I think only 1 loss prior).

Have any of you actually seen what the Olympic medals look like, I just saw them for the first time when I saw the U.S woman's hockey team getting their medals, I think there really ugly, the surface of them isn't flat like they've always been, it's an undulating surface said to represent the west coast's landscape of mountains, waves, & snow drifts, they look like a old record that was left in the sun too long and got all warped.

Bronze looks a lot more like copper.

The US had two goals called back, one highly questionable.  Here nor there, the Swiss held Canada to a shoot out while Canada was in a funk.  Otherwise, they were basically outclassed by lack of offense.

Congratulation Canada women Hockey team for defeating U.S. and winning the gold.  Hope that the IOC dose not rip you medal away for the stunt you pull on the ice.
