When losing your lead bomber all 3 of your bombers in your formation will go down the same way the lead bombers does even when they have no damage

Did you bail out of the lead plane or ride it to the ground?

Had the same problem with B26s but went out with film on and couldn't replicate it.

Centre plane had wing tip shot off and spun down to the right.  On bailing, each of the other two suffered the same effects on control of damage, though the visuals didn't transfer to the new plane.  Very similar to the old damage transfer bug but it was characterised by the transfer of visual damage as well.

I get really really tired of selective realism disguised as a desire to make bombers easier to kill.

Just now had the same problem. Lead a massive B17 mission to Rookland strat. Cons intercepted. Fw190 takes off vital surface of leading plane (unknown due to the fast pace of events at 28K and no film). The same damage is characterized on ALL of my flight. Entire flight destroyed. Please remedy. Thank you.

havent had it happen to me personally...... but was sittin in tower earlier today and seen it

set of lancs flew over........ friendly made a pass on the lead............saw a flame erupt from the lead....

almost instantly, and while the lead was still flying straight and level, both drones went into a death spiral

IIRC the drones actually died before the lead burned out....... but it happened so fast hard to tell

I'll be on tonight. I will arrange for a Rook to decapitate my B17 and film it.
