Well, was it operational training (i.e. saw action, even though "training" in designation)? Or just UK-based training (i.e. never went to the continent)?

I personally can't say for sure, I have built the plastic model (holy schlamoley is exactly right on the scheme!) and will look at the brief history in the kit itself. it should specify if it was operational or not.

I have more info on No. 33 Squadron but no more specifics on the Crocodile Fighter.

The books I ordered arrived they have info about the aircraft but no mention of being in a training squadron or a home defence squadron. The one thing in common for training squadrons & home defence squadrons is that none of the pictures I have show a rear gun in any of those two squads?

Because of the damage layer technical issues, I might suggest skinning a WW2 plane as your first attempt, then after gaining some experience move on to the F2b.

It is unique to the WW1 planes only, with their cloth/wood construction.

The texture for this skin is daunting, I'm making a version of it with a layer that shows each part labeled.  I hope it helps some people.

edit:  The trouble starts when we come to parts that I don't know the names of :lol.

Ok, lyric, you just made my decision even harder!  Ok, how's this.  Any skin that's brown and white will do :P

Are there any color swatches for WWI planes?  I looked at simmerspaintshop, maybe I didn't look hard enough.
