There were many common specialized varients of the M4; flame throwers, rocket launchers, mine destroyers, etc.

I assume you are talking about the T-34 Calliope variant?  It saw combat in late 44-45.  Still trying to find info on how many were made.  Cool ain't she?

I was passingly familiar with the flame throwers, mine destroyers, and some other variants. I'd even guessed they had rockets as well, but such a giant framework was surprising when I checked the main page.
