This reminds me of Scottie from Star Trek "I'm giving it all she's got, Cap'n!"

Not sure why though.

Sure we were, mein herr! We were out to conquer the country with the best mountains. We figured we would do more harm to that country by joining them, than by fighting them.

I see... bring 'em down from the INSIDE... I like it.

I'd bet you could hit 200 if you could find a long enough hill. I was 120+ while midair in the last two pics.

Hmmm.  That hadn't occurred to me.  It now makes perfect sense :)

I remember when we first got the jeeps. Can't remember who it was, but we all started running around the old TT in jeeps, hopping hills, racing, etc. It was a blast!

Here's a stoopid idea....seeing how we have the Aces High Extreme Air Races...maybe an Extreme GV race should be organized. A race that loops around 2 different base towns as an example. :x

Oh wow, I could see a jeep expedition in the SEA. No combat, just a group of players trying to reach a peak.  :D

I was thinking about this while heading up the mountain. 30+ jeeps trying to reach the summit. That would be a blast!

How do you guys like that Jeep flight model?

To me it appears to be porked, looks like HiTech didn't model the CG very well on the jeep flight model and I'm sure drag isn't properly modeled as well.

Killshooter could be disabled and turn it into AH's version of Death Race 2000.

Who said anything about disabling it, that shot that Cactus has of us starting out I think is actually the 3rd or 4th attempt to get all three of us off the base terrain tile w/out a killshooter incident. :)

As members of the 80th, it is our duty to familiarize ourselves with terrain above 20k. What better way to do that then in a jeep? Bugs in your teeth and the wind in your hair.

Mensa, Soulyss and I set out in strict formation as we begin our trek.

The Jeep's ability to scale steep grades is amazing. After only a matter of minutes, we are enjoying the view of our distant VBase.

We soon pass the last sign of man; a rough road just below our goal.

With the lack of oxygen, flips and tumbles are a common occurrence.

Soulyss is the first to be consumed by the mountain. This is the last we saw of him.

Mensa and I continue to push through several cloud layers.

Mensa and I share a romantic view of the valley below at over 17k.

The romance is short lived, however, for this crack would be the end of us. I fell to the right and sunk into the mountain. Mensa fell left but managed to recover. He only postponed the inevitable, as he too was consumed minutes later. 18.1K was as far as we would go.

LOL brilliant!  :rofl
