What does it mean when it says that I have leet number of posts?

That'll tell you what "leet" means: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leet

"For example, leet spellings of the word leet include 1337 and l33t"

There are a number of plugins that translate to (and I presume, from) leetspeak.   I suspect you have one of them installed, and so when your post count was 1337 you saw "leet".

I am not doubting it happened.  I am simply letting you know it was not the bulletin board that did it.  It was another program on your computer that did it.

IIRC it is an "Easter Egg" of sorts built into the SMF software (specifically 1.0/1.1, was removed in SMF 2.0).
