I have been playing the game now for about a week. I do not like the wait to get into the arena. MY choice of tanks sucks. I have enough credits to buy a better tank but the tab that says purchase will not let me click on it.. I have only landed about 8 kills thus far..

I totally hate using the mouse for control.. They really need to allow joysticks.

Other than those few items, it is a fun game to play.. Very fast moving the entire time.. The guys who have been playing longer clearly have the advantage with better tanks than the noobs..

Wait to get into an arena?  The longest you have to wait is what, about 15 seconds?  LOL!

I was in there the one night I posted about earlier. Looked nice. The lack of controller support just makes it like an old dos game to me.
I realize it is in beta. Maybe the actual release will advance past what seems like 80s games.

I have not thought much about it since.

The controls are perfect for what it is, in fact you will have less precision and probably more difficulties using a joystick than using the keyboard and mouse.

The wait is to allow them to create something of a remotely level playing field. They could just take the first 30 players, but I doubt you'd like fighting Tigers, T-44's, and JPIV's with your tier I light tank.

I smacked a Tiger around with the 23mm on my MS1 at about 1am EST....for about 8 seconds anyhow; then the inevitable happened

I laugh when I see a tier 1 light tank in Tier 5+ battles.  Was in one that was full of Ltraktors and MS-1s in my T-34, had a field day!

I had something like that happen in my KV-3 the other day. I had just fitted the 122mm and all the lawntractors and ms-1s on the enemy side charged down the middle. Pop, pop, pop, pop.

Bought a PZ4 and ran it last night. Nice tank. Also run a PZ3 which I like too. Main rides are Stug 3 and Hummel, I make most credits in them. I still keep my marder with 100% crew for fun though. Hoping to buy the jagdpanzer by the weekend.

just bought the Jagdpanzer. You need to research the 88 or you may as well use the StuGIII

spend most my time in a TigerI and jump between a VK3001(H) and a VK3601(H). figure I'll just wait for the release before jumping back in to a TD or SPG.

Aside from the bad lag I get the game seems fun so far.  Only played about 10 battles and using the tier 2 German Tank Destroyer (JgPzII?) for now since I can't use fast attack units because lag makes it impossible (jumpy tanks, click lag).  Of course just last-night I got my invite code from the WoT-site after I got one from Shattered Crystal.
Can't play again til I fix my gaming internet, but it's definitely a fun game when it doesn't put me against tier 6 tanks.  Best match so far was 2 kills and about 4 assists. :)

I love W.O.T but the need to fix the severs the lag is killing me. I get 60 70 ping I guess that`s not bad ,but the other guy jumps around it`s hard to make a good shot! :rock
