« on: August 07, 2010, 07:08:26 PM »
Any one in the maryland DC area that is willing to let me come over to watch them control their flightstick to help me learn to fly better ?
Ill even bring the pizza. The best way I can learn is to watch and then do.

The trainers here are great , some of the best ,but they cannot physically show me how to move the stick for which tactic. for that I need to see it .

I know what you mean. I am very tempted to ride down to Delirium's house and watch him fly for an hour or so. He can't be more than a couples hours from me and I know whatching him fly from over his shoulder would teach me more in an hour than months of training in the TA.

The TA on the other hand is a very good "second" choice. The trainers that are good with the basics can walk you through each maneuver telling you which way to more the stick and rudders to make the move. They will follow in a plane or god's eye mode and watch your planes control surfaces to be able to tell what your doing, both right and wrong. Give them a go, you only have "time" to loose. Either your using it to die the same old deaths, or your using it to get better, it's up to you.

I made a series of video training clips, and some of them cover the basics of how your virtual aircraft responds to joystick movemonts. You might try these:

shppr if you don't find anyone to go visit look me up we'll do some duels.  After a few duels I'll break it down to what we could work on and work on those specific maneuvers with you if you want.   :salute
