Addition to mission planner

Would it be possible to add gunners to the mission planner? I was thinking about this for a while today.

The pilot would still have to confirm a particular gunner, so I fail to see how this would benefit or change anything.

I thought it just makes it easier to join, I was thinking about small mission planning, taking maybe 10 heavies with 10 gunners, that sort of thing

See, I would never join that mission, because on the rare occasions I let someone gun for me, it has to be a trusted person.

No, for the reason stated thus far.

I would say one is better than none .  Maybe if the 10 gunners joined a little list where the pilots had to pick/invite one  of his choosing.  It would at least let those wanting to fly a mission like that the ability to get in touch with people who want to gun.

One is not always better than one, especially if you're a decent shot in bombers, you want control over every last gun.  One is certainly not better than none if that one decides to just shoot out all your guns.  The list idea would solve the problem, yes, but it's not necessary.  If a bomber really wants a gunner, he just has to announce it on channel and 15 guys will immediately send him a request to join.

I can handle myself perfectly as a gunner, but would be a very nice touch. +!
