My Wife works for Budweiser. They work all Holidays.

Classic example of why they need holidays.
Without an extra day off here any semblance of quality product whatso ever goes down the toilet. (though n Budweisers case, I am convinced it comes out of it)

Now. Do you want HTC to have an occasional holiday so as to better be able to produce a quality product?

Why is Hitech giving its employees labor day off....I dont think they should have it off....shouldnt they be working hard on the new Moss and what ever else they plan on giving us.....

Without unions at least more people would have jobs now. There is a reason only about 12% of workers belong to unions
and the biggest share of them work in the public sector.

My company just got bought out. The old company was union, the new one isn't. I got  a raise and an extra weeks vacation when I went into the new company. 70% of those "union" guys were NOT invited to the new company, and ya know why? Because most union employees didn't work worth a crap. My raises were based on "negotiation", not on my ability. I'm am VERY thankful I again am no longer associated with a union !

the real biggest reason is outsourcing. I watched this happen since the 80s (UAW) cant compete with 35$ a week and no beni's. Take a look a where your car was made Suburban around 50k made in Mexico for a wage of $35 a week and no benefits, but you didn't get the lower price, GM just made more profit
