What happens when you put Fighter Jocks in Bombers

If you read the orders it said "Attack Group One CO Kommando Nowotny" That means I am in charg yes?

I had a great time in Frame 2.  But, I have a great time in FSO whether I live for 5 minutes or two hours.  I certainly don't mean to stir the pot any more than it has been.  Mainly....well, because I don't care.  I play this game to escape reality, not add more drama to it.  However, I'd like to make a few points:

1)  I don't believe the KN was Attack Group One CO, as perdweeb mentioned in the quote above.  I copied and pasted the orders below.  THIS could have been the miscommunication that caused the ruffling of feathers.  If perdweeb thought that he was CO, and The Jokers didn't follow his instructions, I could see where he would be upset.  The way that I read the orders, that wasn't the case.

2)  The Jokers followed the orders given.  We located, reported, and attacked the Carrier Group.  We died.  But, had fun doing it.

3)  It's my $15.  <S>

Jokers Jokers, CO TITAN312: Bf110G2 JABOS

Kommando Nowotny, CO perdweeb: Ju88A4 Formations

334^th FS The Eagles, CO Fencer: Bf109G6 Escort

Launch from A2, SW and fly south. There is a reported Carrier Fleet in
sector 14,2. Locate the Fleet, and ATTACK! 334^Th , stay ahead of the
group, you may spot an incoming attack group. DO NOT ENGAGE, but report
position to command. Also, spread out to find the Fleet when in 14,2.
RTB to the north west after attack, and give as much info to command for
second strike.

I feel your pain.
I have learned over the years that how you intended your post means little. How it is interpreted means everything and its interpretation by the player depends on:
1. How much the player has had to drink.
2. How well they slept that night.
3. How much fun the player had in the last frame of FSO.
4. How things went with their hubby that day.

Beyond that, once we hit (Image removed from quote.) it is out of our hands and therefore should not be of great concern.

Perdue, IMO this entire post was unneccessary.  It very simply looks like you coming on to just brag about how good you guys are.  All squads have good and bad mission results.  So ?  You have no one but yourself to blame for the vitriolic responses.  I was very dissappointed that you felt it neccessary to "bang your own drum".  This forum normally has "congratulations" and "job well done" posts from one squad to another, not one squad to themselves.

I have always felt that you should give to the game more than you take.  You failed.

Like it takes any effort to get your name (or squad's name) in lights for "Objects Destroyed" when all it takes is one bomb to hit a CV and you get 15-20 guns blown up.

Our orders where specific, we were to "loiter" and clean up anything that the main attack missed, NOT to be forced into being "cap magnets" so your group (which was supposed to go in first) could be hero's.  As far as I am concerned you violated the rules of FSO and would be out of FSO for awhile, till you learned to FOLLOW orders, for me your no different than the squad that got kicked for chasing buffs without orders.

Makes absolutely ZERO sence Box.  If anything others violated the rules by your post, not us.  We went as fast as we could to hit the fleet target once its CORDS were given to us.  We did suggest going in together so we could hit the boat simultaneously, but were ignored by the Jokers.  We followed the orders to the letter, and destroyed all 6 ships on our own.

Threatening to "have us kicked out" is not called for, it was my first FSO, and I did exactly what the orders given me said...also, what authority to have me banned do you have specifically.  

The point of the OP was that we did FAR better than we expected being fighter guys, and were just excited as all get out over how it all turned out.

We were just excited about doing well when we rarely bomb together as a group and did not expect to do well. So we did beat our own drum did not expect to get post like yours. So really you can think anything you want. We have had top squad before and never said anything here. Some of you need to relax.

We followed orders and the plan we talked about in the tower before FSO. The "so your squad could be hero's" bit is ridiculous our job was to sink the CV and we did it.
