You are all going to see a minor change in the upcoming scenario. This revolves around the entire concept of a "Beta Frame".
There won't be one. In the past, the Beta Frame has evolved into a place to test the terrain, test the flight times, test the overall function of the event. This will have been done. The event will have been de-bugged as much as humanly possible before it is announced. The Beta Frame was not attended in any fashion as it was simply looked on as a non functioning part of the actual scenario.
You will see a new term. It's called a "Coordination Frame". This is important. There is going to be an amazing amount of time to train, practice, team build and design your teams strategy. There will only be one frame to test it as your entire group. This is where you see if all your planning, your fine tuning of your command structure, you rigid training on communications, your ability to distribute information during a crisis, all that you worked hard towards building actually performs. It is not only a good idea, but it is critical to your success to attend.
The minutia of testing the terrain conditions will have been done. You will be practicing on the completed event conditions from the first day you step onto the map. Please, as you build your teams, understand that this is not a 6 frame event, it is a 7 frame event, and the coordination frame is a major part of tools we will be providing you to form a strong and functional team.
See ya soon
