The 16s had the clipped wing. Those don't. other then that, they all look the same to me.

1st one looks like mkV (or mkII), the 2nd one is mkXVI.

Far not all 16s had clipped wings, the stock model had elliptical wings and high back. Some variants of 16 had clipped wings and a double canopy.

Also an easy way to tell the different between a 9 and a 16 is by the V-stabilizer. Spit9 had a rounded tip while 16 is more pointy.
