thx for the info, didnt knew about that movie, its like "enemy at the gates", east-front war movie (russia)
I doubt it will be much interesting for the us folks, like the pacific war for us europeans, but the trailer
looks very promising!

I really hope it comes out with English sub-titles.  Even if it does not, I'll watch it beginning to end.   :D

I've been watching all the Youtube vids.  Some great battle footage.  Shows you how brutal it was on the Eastern Front. :salute

 Wasn't there only one small part in the book about Vassili Zaitsev?

yah, he was the most featured character, but the book was about the bigger picture. Something like a million Germans went to the area....never to be seen again. Mind boggling

That was no dogfight, he got picked and 1 vs 2.  Looks like AoM was in that movie.   :D
