Chalenge I appreciate your help Bro.

Did exactly as you demonstrated (BTW thanks), and I'm showing no NVIDIA Audio at all.

Don't know how to print up the page, But....in Device Manager, under Sound, Video, and game controllers, the following is listed:

Audio Codecs
Creative SP X-Fi
Leagacy Audio Drivers
Leagacy Video Capture Drivers
Media Control Devices
Video Codecs

That's all.

Okay thats actually good. Did you turn down the hardware acceleration for the X-Fi? Usually if thats a problem it will cause your vox to break up but I suppose it could cause it to stop working. Also can you tell us what audio card you have? There are a lot of X-Fi cards and I think you have the Xtremegamer (?) which could be the problem.

Well. That doesnt tell me a whole lot other than its a X-Fi. Run dxdiag again and then click on the Sound tab where you will find the hardware acceleration slider. Turn it down a notch and try that for a bit.

Well come to find out I needed to dump HTC file folder and reload.  Thought I had saved settings, maps, etc., but screwed that up too.  Maybe all for the better, start everything from scratch.  Spent the last few hours downloading, remapping everything.......OMG then there's the view setttings, calibrations, so on and so forth.

However, that was the problem.  Somewhere, somehow, I ended up with a corrupted file(s).

Chalenge, I want to thank you for your assistance sir.  Not to mention the detailed explaination on "How to Do It".  To everyone else, I appreciate your assistance.

Merry Christmas Folks, my watermelon is back up and running at 100%
