Full Metal Jacket
Dr Strangelove
Gettysburg, Gods and Generals

Trilogies:

Starwars, Back to the future, Indiana Jones and my fave GAMERA TRILOGY!

TV: Band of Brothers, Pacific, Robot Chicken, Family guy, Air Crash investigation and of course DR WHO!........ endless.

But despite all these films and shows. The "Chuck Norris" of my film collection is Monty Python.

All monty python films and TV episodes are my favourites and the before listed titles are just the closest to the top that any have ever got.

The Third Man (thriller, adventure - and if don't tell anyone, they won't notice - some philosophy)
We Were Soldiers Once (war movie that somehow makes the military family home front a place of heroism too)
High Noon (works on soooo many levels)

Wisdom is realizing I will be an idiot in the future.
Common sense is trying to not be an idiot right now
