Is it hard to play because of the number of strings or the thickness of the neck?
It takes a bit to get use to. I wouldn't recommend jumping from a 6 to an 8. It throws you way off.

Just watch this guy. He is my hero on an 8. He has some of the most solid up and down stroke minor sweeps ive ever seen. And that low end you hear, its the guitar.

I've owned alot of guitars over the years, Fender,Jackson,Travis Bean, and have played alot of "boutique" guitars.

Nothing says Rock and Roll like a Gibson through a Marshall.

This DC is my favorite out of everything I've ever tried.

Never tried an 8 string but have tried a 7 string Ibanez, the low B is a really cool string to have.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

Now, I'm no guitarist. I've been playing guitar since 88 but, I don't call myself one. I am a drummer.
