Why not American?  Other than your obvious bias I mean.  Since alot of folks don't know about the unwritten
rules of acceptance they choose what they find.

The combat record of the 162 is limited at best, plus we need to make sure all the jets are German?
The meteor is definitely a more acceptable choice by the squadron strength and saw combat criteria.

:D

in all seriousness, i would have no problem with an American jet in the game, but only after a LOOOOONGG list of re-models and much needed EW and MW aircraft are added

What bias I am showing?  I am not the one asking for something that didn't see combat just because it is American.

Personally, I don't think we need more jets of any kind, but given than people want them, it seems they could at least ask for the ones that fought in WWII.

Karnak just liked to go shoot down peoples ideas. But in truth I have to agree that if it didn't see combat it shouldn't be put in aces high. I say put in the PBY :3 it saw lots of service

Bah.  Humbug.  I've supported every idea that I thought was good.  :p

PBY did indeed see lots of service.

i like the use of "shoot down"... in a flight combat sim.... :bolt:

PBY saw alot of service, yes, but including that owuld have to include adding more of a nval realism to the game. and what about other planes/GVs... and the updating of the ones we have... and anyways, my thoughts on what HTC should/could do is keep the combat areas the way they are (surface naval, airborne, and ground) and get those REALLY FANTASTIC (not that they arent already... just saying) and then introduce a new kind of combat (naval-- surface and below surface)

but I don't get why they are obsessed with it being an American jet.

What is so special about it being American?
