Don't get me wrong, if it was on their house and property I couldn't give less of a flying umpty, it's their right and freedom of expression, but this guy is doing something I see as distasteful (and that's to each their own, so I know others might like it) to a large spance of area that includes private and public lands and setting the precident that anyone can do anything they want to their front yard, your front yard, or any land that has street frontage that isn't paved over by the city or state DOT (but you see, he tried that, and got a very nasty fine from the city (sidewalks) and state DOT (one small section of street paving he ripped up is a part of CA highway 27's roadway) for vandalizing city and state property.).
