I've witnessed A-10s flying low over lake Texoma.  They made sweeping passes over the same group of boats from several directions.  I don't know what exactly they were doing, but my guess is they were using boats on the water for practice target runs, or they were using the contrast of the boats against the water to calibrate instruments.  Or, maybe they were just showing off for ladies they knew were watching.  What ever the case, it was fun, and scary, to watch.

I think the Secret Service are flying a-10s now.  They use them to deter people from talking bad about the government.  I sent a text to a friend that Obama has an ugly jumpshot and a couple of guys in black suits showed up at my house.  There was an A-10 circling my house during this.  Then they held up this silver pen with a red light on top.

the only problem with your story, is that if in fact they had held up that silver pen with a red light on top, you wouldnt remember any of that stuff that happened.

For the past several years every month or so I'd be in the yard and hear a distinctive jet sound, I'd look up to see Lockheed test flying the next F22 to come off the line.  An F16 chase plane would be flying a close trail.  I haven't seen any for a couple of months now.

 Is it bad if I've never seen an F22 in person?

See jets all the time in New England.  In CT saw a f18 fly overhead and was moving pretty damn quick.

Over my college in Springfield, MA see f16s all the time and for some reason they sure love to buzz my school at 9-10 in the morning.  Kind of annoying when trying to get some sleep.

Most likely the pilot was probably doing a fly by for family or friends.
