Once again, how?  How will they attach my posts here and elsewhere to me?  HTC and a couple other companies have that info, but nobody else does.

Facebook, yes, and it is a factor in not having a facebook account.  Interestingly my wife was just turned down for a job for not having a facebook account, they thought she wasn't social enough.  Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

karnak they didnt turn your wife down because she didn't have a facebook account.  it was because they wanted somebody else.  we had plenty of women rejected not because they were wrong but because they were too beautiful and they would be a distraction at our company. and that was according to our 2nd vp who thought she was she should be the only pretty girl around.   fact is the excuses they give are lame, but the fact remains they already had somebody else in mind for the job.

Facebook is social media???  More like hiding behind a monitor to me.

I have no use for facebook at all.  I interact with the people I see and know.

i think that's how us old timers always have interacted and always will, face to face.

Cap I'm still trying to decipher anyone blaming what happen to a race of people during WWII on themselves. I'm pretty confident in saying that's about as screwed up as they come.

You are absolutely correct, anyone at any given time can and will do something wrong in someone's eyes, human nature and just reality. That wasn't however what he said.

I would ask, how exactly does he suggest we stand up for freedom? Remove the right to hire employees by companies, maybe we appoint them? In my company I hire exactly who I want so long as I don't violate their rights, they don't like it, don't apply. I see you demonstrating poor judgement (yep in my opinion) and I don't hire you. I see you posting "Kill all the _________ (insert who or what you like there) on Facebook and i don't hire you. Pretty simple.  My wife did a quick check on an applicant who had posted just days before blatant detrimental remarks about their company on their Facebook page. Then had the audacity to apply for a job there. I'm sorry but that was simply stupid.

Now of course if he isn't talking about this thread then yep, I'm still trying to decipher it :)

I have about 25 friends on face book, mainly family (about 9 of them who do the games and need my account) and the other people I know from my school and my gf who now goes to a different school. I'm close to the other people and limit who I talk to, seeing people with over 5 thousand friends really confuses me. On my phone its only family and 3 friends and my gf. I try to not be a sterotype teen.

i think that's how us old timers always have interacted and always will, face to face.
That's the best way, now adays you only talk at the mall or at school. Me and my friends only talk on the phone to know when to head out on our bikes to go somewhere around our city, we like to be out there and not so obsessed with out video games.
