It's more than fast, it's a Mercedes-Benz. Drive your hooptie down to the dealer and strap one on....you'll see the difference asap

bolded....that right there is enough reason to not purchase it.  :neener:

You get what you pay for....always remember that fact.

Found On the Road Dead

Ford's electronics in thier vehicles has always been crap, and they have a very low re-sale value. I use to deliver parts to all the ford plants in US. One time I was in Lorain,Ohio at the plant where they made mercury mini vans, it was about 3 A.M. and I asked to be directed to a bathroom. The forklift driver ( who was smoking a joint & asked if i wanted some ) directed me to a brick building in the middle of the plant. Inside they had a 100" screen TV, 2 fridges full of beer and porn playing on the big screen. There was a couple of U.A.W. workers in there on break havin a cold one. Then I watched them head right back into the assembly floor. Made me think real long about all the rumors of fords breaking down.

The only plant that does not have anything like that....is the Louisville,Ky. truck assembly.

Think about that before you purchase a ford...i always do.

you mean the nissan quest that was badged as a villager?

i bought a brand new 83 5 liter. never had a problem with it, that i didn't cause myself by beating the snot out of it. bought an 89 5 liter in 93 or 94....never had a problem at all with that one till the saturn kissed it on the nose. got my ford e350 with a bazillion miles on the original 351. never a problem with it. my grand pop had his 67 mustang, with never a problem. nor his 71 ranch wagon. nor his 64 galaxy wagon. nor my mom's 65(i think that was what year it was) falcon. nor my brothers 68 galaxy. nor my 64 galaxy.

i'd hafta say fords have been pretty good to me and mine.

i'm not.........i don't care what people wanna think.

there is no mercedes in the price range of a ford that will outperform it.  :devil

if i wanted a "look at me" car, then i'd go for a mercedes or bmw........

for 88k i would rather cough up another 30 or 40 and get me a Ferrari. or, as Cap said, get me a GT350. Benz's are too common, much like a Vette or Porsche.

and all the computers on the new Benz? sickening....

Porche and corvette while common at a rolex race are not common with american consumers. If you see a lot of Mercedes running around, well then that means there are a lot of smart people around.

And that mustang has a lot of computers as well.

No, they were villagers not nissans.

Chances are that 5.0 was made in my home town, there's a ford engine plant here. Good motor if properly kept up. My second car was a 1991 Ford mustang GT with a paxton supercharger new off the showroom floor. My grandmother worked at the engine plant so I got it on the AtoZ plan. The payment was 399 a month, ha ha ha. Best feeling in the world driving your brand new car off the lot. Your girl friend wrecking that car driving you home from a bar & wrecking said mustang is not a good feeling though....

ALL Villagers were Nissan Built and rebadged as Mercs.

Mercury villager and nissan quest are fords with nissan engines and transmissions.

The nissan quest used a ford key, steering column.......well....everythi ng on the car but the engine, trans, and the engine specific wiring harness........which connected into the ford produced overall vehicle wiring harness.

In other news, a girl runs 1:43s at Laguna Seca in her improved touring integra in which the engine specs. out within stock tolerances and is shod with dot street legal tires.

you beat me to it. i just had one in the shop the other day......and it took me a bit to remember i had to program my scanner for a quest, rather than a villager, in order to read it./
