I tend to get wingmen killed :)

I haven't had much flying time with Del in a while, but  going back to our Airwarrior days, he's the best wingman I've ever had.  Soulyss is a close second.

During the BoG scenario in the frames I flew in a 47 and 51B I had Shamus on my wing.  He was really good too.  No idea how he stayed with me, and kept me alive at the same time.

A good wingman dives in and gets you out of trouble.  A great wingman dives in and dies with you.  Or something like that.  :joystick:

:salute Debrody, Kazan, Reaper...3 very good sticks I really appreciate to fly with.

If I could add a couple of others that would be: B2B, Doom and Redtop. Those folks always have an extra pair of eyes to check on you, coupled with great skills and great communication, it's the best recipy for a good wingman.

I would have included Silat in my list....but Lew tends to spend more time critiquing my outfit than clearing my six..... :noid

NathBDP was my favorite wingman bar none - we always knew exactly what the other was up to, no matter how unorthodox, without ever saying a word.

In Air Warrior, Kitty was definitely a favorite.  We had some fun times trolling folks who took the game way too seriously.

I haven't talked to Kitty since she armed the hamsters. You still in touch?

It's been awhile, maybe four years.  Last I chatted with her, she'd gone to culinary school and was a sous chef in Los Angeles.

Any Prawn – not for the kills, that’s just a bonus.

It’s for the vibe.

And as far as sharing kills and working together in true wingman fashion – that’s always going to happen (except the sharing kills and working together bits). I just know they’re looking out for me and me for them.

And it’s not to accumulate score and “climb the ladder”. It’s all for the fight and the fun.

Hmmm.  Del and Souylss seem to dive in while I'm getting in trouble, kill a bunch and then rtb after I've gotten myself killed :)
