On a tangent now, how the heck does 999000 do it? Jedi crap or something.

You probably could do the same after flying bombers for about 4300 hours with at least 26,000 missions and 33,440 kills.

He's excellent practice to fly against, because if you give him anything resembling a decent shot, he'll shred you.  However, I find if I set up correctly and have the patience to do my attacks properly, he's survivable, though I rarely come away without major damage.  Most of the time after a run on 999000, I wind up dead sticking back to base.

That kind of practice I don't need. The problem is that he's easy to catch, and not usually too high, just like tatertot So you're thinking maybe you can get all 3, then you dive in on the first and come out the other side in pieces.

Nah, he's not a laser AAA platform. He's good, yes. I've taken out his full formations many a time. I've got pieces of him and tater (flying together) and made it out alive. I'm not timid and I don't shadow them 300 miles waiting for an attack. I just go in at a respectable angle and reposition. Don't be foolish with your attack.

He's definitely a tougher foe than the random "I have tail guns?" bomber guy, but still not undefeatable

Yeah, that's what I meant by 'patient'.  Most of the time when I speak of 'patience' the time is often measured in blocks of a minute or two, just taking that extra little bit of time to reset my plane correctly before making my second run...

He's a lot of fun though.

I remember this well, as it was apparent that this Spit was not just looking for a kill (like most fighters do), but actually had a mission.

Yep. It's funny after flying for four plus years I start to recognize certain pilots style of flying.
