Squadron based Missions

Lately I've been seeing more squadron based missions flying around (I.e entire squads running bombers with escorts). Not sure which Rook squad has been doing it, I know TWC had a few missions that were ran, I think its fantastic to see this and only wish more squads would do so.

Hopefully 367th can have a squad night Saturday in which we will be doing planned bombing missions at 15-20k, hopefully other squads will be interested in joining us for the fun.

Kudos to the squads not interesting in "hording a base mission" and actually having a set plane list (B17s escorted by P38s and P47s).
I'm not knocking those squads who feel the need to win the war, its your $15 to kamikaze into buildings :)

one thing i love to do is cover the dickweeds' B17s every tuesday with my squaddies and i in our 51s or 38s :aok

The 78th and The Avengers get together on Monday evenings (8pm, Bish) for some combined Squad Ops missions. We like to fly a tight formation of buffs with top fighter escort. Anyone is welcome to join us if interested.

Also, for any squads interested in trying some more realistic, historical-based squad missions, we also run Small Squad Operations (SSO):

SSO is usually on Sunday night, and one other night each week, although we are taking a little holiday break right now. We'd love to make it "Large" Squad Operations soon, so we'd love to hear from some other squads who might be interested in trying it out. I think you'll enjoy it! Individual walk-ons are also just as welcome!

Butcher i think its the DevilDogs putting up B17, B25missions all with escorts. I have been in them and gone up against them (since i rotate everymonth) they are amazing and a blast. A big >S< to the DDs. Sorry if i forgot the squads who escort.

Lots of fun there  :aok  Miss the big 91st and DHBG escort missions. If you know of when they will be up, shoot me a pm Bar, would love to tag along with the 20th.

Yup. Its us. Our squad night is Tuesday at 9PM EST. 17's,24's with escorts usually. Everyone is welcome. We did a CV mission with SBD's , TBM's with f4f escorts the other night turned out to be frickin awesome.

hey bailey. 20th's taken a hit in numbers and most of the remaining members are either busy or have computer problems. but this tuesday ill be online early for the mission around 8-9PM est if you want to PM me. the more cover the better :aok
