I still fail to see how MLP is any worse to be a fan of than reality dreck, crappy mass-produced 'music', or the latest hollywood snorefest. We all like stuff that someone else finds strange. Deal with it.

Hell, most of you are grown men who devote your spare time to playing video games. Get off your high horses.

Apparently it leads to animated hilarity?

Sometimes, I can't even believe that it's ment for 3 year old girls. I mean, there are alcohol references, a reference to "Chocolate Rain", a Big Lebowski reference, among other things.

I think I actually have seen this show before - but I wouldn't own up to it because all the mouthbreathers were like "MLP IS DA BEST OMG"

I thought it was pretty funny. It was the one where one of them wanted a new best friend so he/she held tryouts and ended up with a turtle.

They put those in there for adults watching it with their kids so they aren't bored to tears.

That is not a very good episode for someone who is new to the show. Try watching season 2, episode 3 on YouTube.

No, it only appears in the second season, when the Producer, Lauren Faust, acknowledged that the majority of the audience are outside of the targeted range.

I now claim this as my Aceshigh theme song  :D

Anyways, For anyone who was a fan of...

-Rocko's modern life.

-Home of imaginary friends.

-teen Titans.

-The powderpuff girls.

-Samurai Jack.

-Clone wars animated series.

-Dexters laboritory.

Should give this show a try. The talented Lauren Faust, The creater of both home of imaginary friends, and the powderpuff girls, is the Developer. Along with the animation being created by Paul Rudish, Who's behind samurai jack, the clone wars animation, and dexters laboritory.

They got alot of talented and experienced people behind the show. Most likely why its better than most people ever expected from a little girls show.

I have 10 yo grandson and 11 yo granddaughter visiting for the holidays. I asked them.. Grandson gave me the look that says "Are you nuts gramps?".. And my Granddaughter said she was too old for that stuff, HaHaHa.. Well, there ya go! I'll trust their judgment over yours..
And incidentally, I know some new guys at our VFW.. Fresh out of the US Army, and they say things are getting fruitier all the time, lol!
So yeah, I'm gettin a laugh out of the bronies, but now with a bit of sadness.. Because what you just said, reinforces what they said!

Be well, remember your oath, it matters!
And get home safe to your family..
