I have 1 troll and 2 know-it-all blowhards on the list at the moment.  I think you should get 50 perks per troll and maybe 25 per know-it-all blowhard.

One political board I did years ago had a voting system. You could vote comments good or bad, and if too many bad they would get banned for a period of time. Don't know from the operating side pros or cons but...we would see some rather 'masters of the holy crap' banned pretty quickly.

Best thing to do is put those certain trolls on ignore and never respond to them, no matter what idiotic thing they come up with next.

Sadly people can troll the boards with extremely stupid wishes, however one bad comment and you can get muted instead.

Simply ignore.
