Would it be possible,...
« on: January 26, 2012, 07:50:28 PM »
considering the several hundred dollars I've payed HTC over the past years in subscription fees, to get a renewal on my two weeks? All these fancy new features have me curious but not quite sure yet...
Is there someone I should email about this?

you can still download it and play it off line for free. If you like what you see, whats $15 for a test spin.

Well AH is hardly an offline game, I may do that though.
Do you still put custom sounds in the sound folder? I don't seem to have one.

Yes that is where they go. If there isn't one, create it. The "stock" sounds are in a res file so they are not easy to find.

Apparently the game doesn't make one until the first start up.

Give HTC an email or a call and see if they'll grace you a trial period.  That is the only way I can think of that you might get another one.

If HTC would rather me not get a new trial then I'd rather not go around them and do it anyway.

You had a payed account before? but want 2 weeks for a trial? Either pony up the money or don't play, plain and simple..

/Don't care how much you payed sugar tits, I never had a "free trial".

+1
(but I had a free 2 weeks)

If the incentive to play with the new, pretty stuff isn't enough to rip a big $15 dollars out of your pocket then it probably isn't worth  you time anyhow, which I think it isn't.

Don't listen to the twits. Politely email support and let them know you are interested in trying out the new features and would like another two week trial.  I have done that in the past before I became a regular subscriber when a new release came out and they obliged. I'm sure as long as it is not abused they would be willing.  Best thing either way though is to email support rather than posting on this cesspool.
