I met Snefens in March, he's a regular in our Spring Meeting with his brother Teufel. Haven't seen neither online for a while, but OTOH haven't been flying much lately either. Oh, and am I old school enough to your standards? I remember your nick...  :salute

I'm mostly lurking the forum. Do very little flying these days.

Howdy Ammo.

I flew with the Blue Knights under "Nomadd" in the Warbirds Fighter Operations arena when the squad motto was "We Vulch, We Steal Kills, and oh yes... We Vulch"

Good to see you.

Just curious. For personal reasons, I quit AH in 2004.  My decision was not based on the AH product at all.. great product with a lot of upside. My own agenda drove my decision.  I was an "addict" and realized I couldn't achieve my personal goals as long as I had an active online account.

I flew in warbirds when it was pay-by-the-hour and it almost cost me a divorce... silly, huh?  I weathered through that period HiTech and Pyro estasblish Aces High.  So I migrated over to the skies dominated by the NiK1.  I can't remember the exact year but I estimate 1997-1998.

I had so much fun during those years.  I made some good friends; some I still communicate with.  I was part of the creation of the 56th FG (all Jug Squad) with a guy named Sancho. After recruiting some class act guys the squad enjoyed a lot of success in the MA and the SEA.

So I'm wondering who's still around from "my era"?  I have seen a post or two by widewing.  I'm at a point when I can afford the time to play and I haven't lost my desire to obliterate an ME109 or FW190.  Are  any of the old hats still here?

I almost divorced and quit around those same times too. But I returned briefly a couple years later. Then I held an account for years without flying much at all untill I realized I'm paying for 0 flight hours / month.
