I started PC flying with the first Microsoft flight sim in '92. I also remember Aces over the Pacific. lol

Even earlier -- 1980 for subLOGIC Flight Simulator on the Apple II.  I remember playing it and thinking, "Wow!  I can't believe we've entered the age of being able to have flight simulators in our own homes!"  :aok

I was on an Apple II as well.  Thought it was amazing to be able to "fly"

Before hard drives, there was F117, one 5 1/4 floppy to start the game, then insert second floppy to play. You could hit the edge of the virtual world and just......stop!
