OK, lets cut to the chase, as they say in finicial matters! The Aces High game that we play and all enjoy needs an upgrade to add "realism" to the game beyond where it is now. As a kid growing up, my dear old dad would take me by the local airport in his 1938 Ford, and I knew it was an airport because there was 3 aircraft always parked there! 1800 foot dirt strip with only 1 "T" hangar. Sometimes one of the aircraft would be flying and that was the height of my day! I have flown all over this old world, and I have never seen a active airport without aircraft sitting around on the ramp or in hangars. In AH, they should be indestructable, just as some of the hangars, but for pilots like myself, it would certainly add a more realistic setting from which to launch your favorite mount from. I don't know what AH would have to do to add aircraft on the ramps, but it certainly couldn't be any more than adding trees and rocks that the game have now. I realize that this game is setup to promote air to air combat, but if AH wants to increase its membership rolls, the more realistic that they make it, the more people are going to want to join! A lot of people who play this game, just want to "kick" the tires, light the "fires" and leap into the blue, but this is supposed to be a game which is entertaining to all and provides self satisfaction for ones actions in the game, but some of us would like a little more realism in the game.
