"if you guys are all quitting can I have tallboy?"

No Bruv119. You cannot.

Why?

You have Bruv001, Bruv002, ..., Bruv118.

Will you ever be more than a film for me?   I want to experience your awesome fighting skills.   :O   Bruv and others say you are unbelievably good.   :pray to fight and learn from a FPH's FPH.   :pray :rock

I'm now just another shadow of AH past, a slight forum lurker also.

everyone has a different idea of what they think is correct in regards to flight modeling of WW2 planes............ while most all of us have no real clue as to how any of those WW2 planes fly/flown......... since most of us have never even sat in the seat of all of them let alone flown any of them in real life or in a real life dogfight..... most everything is taken from historical data  ( <----- depending on the "name" aerial combat simulation game company designing the fm & game....... )

No one can really know for sure, I do know that a flight model based on well researched hard cold facts would be more likely to be accurate than one based on a youtube video, or someones paranoia.

I think its important to call out someone like 4brkfast on his complete lack of reasoning, he cannot back up any of his arguments about flight modelling except when he exchanges reality for 'his reality'. People are entitled to their own opinion but when your opinion is confronted with the facts a rational man changes his opinion, a delusional one keeps his.

I know in his post hes quoted as being a very reasonable gull winged armed corsair blue blood bleeding American kinda guy, but it just looks to me like he is accusing Hitech of what he is guilty of, and has perhaps convinced a lot of his squad of that fact as well. His arguments have no reasoning to them except his own delusional bias, or as an excuse for his own failings in the game.

We are at the other game boo

The grass isn't always greener, although it may have better graphics. I'll stick to the place where I feel the FM is more accurate and the eye candy isn't the only draw. The smoothing code that HTC uses alone makes this game much better than other sims, where you 'fly on rails' to prevent strange flight patterns.

I just had an epiphany; Aces High is like marriage. Sure, other younger games may look a bit prettier, but they aren't stable either in modeling or in duration.

so do you guys think Aces High is biased against german planes?
No. I think they are using the historical information to get as close to possible on all planes. Why would they want to handicap any aircraft. There is simply no reason to do so.

If you have historical documentation that there may be an issue then submit it to HiTech along with any supporting information.

Some ppl have other needs that need to be filled, I lost interest in AHs tanking game for the simple fact the 1 shot deaths didnt happen like they do in AH.

Other Games seem to have it more accurate than others, I almost forgot over 70+ GV to choose from.

I am actually in search of another game like AH myself.

Not sure why you guys are so upset because a few ppl leave the game.

Makes me wonder even more about you totem pole guys.

EDIT: Kinda funny they say most of you that responded in this thread are good guys now I see what they really meant.

Why would there be a bias?

I believe some folks would rather blame anything but their own cartoon ability.

In the end talk is cheap.... I would prefer they show the evidence that can be backed up with cold hard documented facts. HiTech is not known for making changes on a whim like some game makers.

This is one reason I am starting up my War in the  Pacific PBEM, frankly an hour preparing to defend/attack on a board game is more fun then watching a horde roll bases and you can't get a decent fight.
Slowly losing interest in fact I cannot find a fight, Snapshots, FSO's and Scenarios are one/two hour events.

I figure to wait around till the Me-410 comes out then probably leave afterwards, probably will buy up a few games from MatrixGames (they do war games/simulators).

Atleast those other game makers do what is asked of the Customers.

Seen a thread asking about the ME410 and next thing ya know you monkeys got so upset because he wanted an update on the new A/C.
I found it funny considering the fact of so many games that base the creation of new A/C off of what the Customers want not what they think will be better.
If you are paying 15 every month to be told nothing of the  new content whats the point of sticking around in the same 7.2 for the next 4 years?

I may be too harsh but you guys asked for it.  :lol
