Truth is the A8 in AH2 reincarnation would never be accepted by lufwaffe IRL with its current flight model.

Baumer pointed out faulty weight- with documents , it does also have the lower power setting of all A8,s, they where cleared for higher ata's, but AH2 have the lowest possible setting there is.

Until I not get out turned by A20s I use this plane to challenge myself in SA, not because its correct.

Seems like the community's been finding a lot of Flight model issues....hopefully they will fix them......

the community's job is to provide HTC with hard data,  guys like wmaker spring to mind.    They have and will change anything that is drastically wrong.   If they do not agree with said person then we should thank HT for standing his ground and not having a game akin to secret weapons of the Luftwaffe!  or at least agree to disagree without petty arguments.

I hate to see anyone leave and hopefully you will all be back at some point in the future.   I will try this new game and give an honest comparative example but we are all friends with minor differences of opinion.   :salute

I 2nd that...... nice post.. Bruv!

well said, Sir!

I never remember HTC not changing something in the FM/flight performance of an AC in game if hard cold factual data was presented & proven to be so.....  everything is here on this messageboards if anyone has any doubt

both are top notch fighter in the real war, both are not usable in AH, but i don't wanna beat a dead horse!

4brkfast is one of those who like to have the right numbers, he fly nearly every plane and love to find out the secrets and the way to fight with.

As CO of Loose Deuce i will add, that 4brkfast is a great friend and he only left AH2, not the Squadron. The skies of good games is very rare, so maybe one might meet him again soon.
4brkfast is one of those LDs from the early hours and a very nice guy! So please lets stay on topic and don't start another personal clubbing here

Thanks and Salute

scoll down and discuss
http://www.aviation-history.com/focke-wulf/fw190.html

http://www.aviation-history.com/supermarine/spitfire.html

both are top notch fighter in the real war, both are not usable in AH

So what? You are giving this information absolute crediabilty because its on a website? It doesn't even say who the author of the article is, which it does in other cases. This site also submits user created content.

"The Aviation History Online Museum is now accepting article submissions. The articles can be about almost anything related to aviation history. If you would like to submit an article for our consideration then Contact Us. We pay $100 for any article accepted. The article must be original material by the author, of approximately 1,200 words, and be accompanied by four pictures, of at least 650 pixels in width. Sources must be cited."

I don't see were they got these figures thats before I even look at them, I don't know who Larry Dwyer (the guy who runs the website) is?? Maybe you should send him an email and ask him who wrote the article on the FW190 A8 and what was the source for his perfomance figures first.

While its a nice article and read, shouldn't you be looking a lot more closely at were the numbers are coming from and who?

Maybe 4brkfast should have taken a bit of your own advice about personal clubbing before he leapt off to another forum and posted his baseless accusations.

"The maker of the game doesn't seem to like the Axis planes, or is biased - has a grudge, thinks propaganda is fun - your guess is as good as mine"

By the looks of it 4brkfast also believes in reptilian people am I really supposed to take him seriously? Yes hes entitled to his own opinion just don't expect anyone with a rational thought in their head to swallow his tripe as well. Heres a quick preview...

"I've typed all this straight from my mind, I'm sure it's uneven and maybe difficult to read, but I suppose the whole point was to throw it out there and see if I'm the only one who had made a connection between some of these otherwise dissimilar topics. What does G.I. Joe, Conan the Barbarian and the Thundercats all have in common? All of their bad guys were reptilian snake people that could talk, stand upright and disguise themselves as human. All around the world cultures share similarities in myths, evil serpent beings and ancient visitors. Hell, you can find a TV show called Ancient Aliens that will tell you about most of what I'm talking about."

Both come up against planes they did not see much of if any in the war also. As stated.... hard facts not just opinions.
