Why do I even bother

I'm about fed up with the MA.....again. Every night that I log on it's the same damned thing. It's either milk run in a dark corner of the map or fight 10 guys at once. Just no happy medium most of the time.

Just fly into their horde and see how many you can get. They will rarely fight...especially on their way to a target. They are like a herd of gazelles....they have safety in numbers, but the outer guys are sitting ducks for the Lions. I routinely do this and many times it has ruined their "mission", or at least delayed it a bit...especially if you can find their goons. They are like robots in the way that they attack. No creativity and no adaptability. It makes me wonder if they are all remnants of HiTec's AI bots actually....ghosts in the machine that HTC cant stop. They are multiplying more and more each day... Does anyone know if you can still play with the AI bots HT was working on? I think it would be an interesting exercise to see if the Vsquad as a whole could score a 1 to 1 kill ratio vs them. Each member fights the bot...best 2 out of 3 in something not super easy to fly but not terribly hard to fly either. Maybe a Yak? At the end we tally up the score. Wouldn't that be a lot of fun? If they can't get at least a 1 to 1 ratio, vDallas has to put on a tutu, take a picture of himself Facebook style (think duck lips), and post it on the bbs.

Oh good vBob is here. Please explain to me why you guys go from one undefended base to the next with no less then a full dar of your cohorts? Do you pat yourselves on the back when 30 of you defeat 3 defenders and take a base? Is this really the "challenge" you look for in a flight sim/war game?
Every single time I've ever catch one of you guy alone, you've ran as fast as you could to avoid any semblance of a fight. From what I've seen the only things you fight in a 1 vs 1 is a town building or radar tower. Do you all really not realize how pitifully lame that is?
I have lost count how many times your group has ran from a fight when reasonable opposition approaches you. Then you all will pop up somewhere across the map at another base completely undefended and swarm it like roaches.
I don't even understand why you bother with the MA at all to be quite honest. Why not just go to Early War and be done with it, instead of turning the main arena into a cesspool.

You can call this a personal attack if ya want, but everyone here knows it's the truth. And in my opinion this kind of "fighting" is killing the game. If my only options are to fight no one or fight 15 at once, I'd as soon spend my 15 bucks on another game.

Nowadays a single country plays the capture/reset game, while the other two don't care. We switch map most days, until we get trinity map for a week.

I'm not sure it is good for the game.

Do you know what a sore loser is?  Do you know why you can't land kills or capture a maproom on the forum?

I'm sorry if you're not having as much fun as you feel you're entitled to have.  I'm sorry for your country's lack of defense.  I'm sorry you weren't in the right line when hitech was dictating what squad everyone was going to join.  I'm also sorry that more often than I'd like, I land at new fields with leftover ammo and that David Wales is no longer a part of the forum.

There's over 100 fields on that map. 42 players on Bishops and I bet you at least 30 of them were attacking the same field all at once.

As far as a lack of defense. Time and again when we're put up defense you all jump to another field clear across the map just so you can avoid defense   Anyone that's played this game any length of time knows that.
Sore loser? No, just sick of the chicken crap game play out of these massive sheep herds you call squads. Capturing maprooms? I've forgotten how many maprooms I've captured since tour 75. Landing kills....I landed your scalp at the base in the screen shot. While you were running away I might add.

Gotta admit they do the horde and do it well.. Is kinda not fun but it's their 15 bucks. What I may suggest is that we could just get out of their way completely and just let them take the bases without a hint of opposition after a while I am sure that would get awfully boring. No one sez we have to have a 3 sided war. If all we wanna do is have good fights we can spend our energy on the knits, or rooks as you will. I am sure that the bish would get pretty bored having nothing to do but take uncontested bases day in and day out. In the end it is a game and you have to find yer fun where ya can...I feel ya ....

With numbers like that, you must have been playing in the wee hours of the morning.  You should have been logged in during prime time last night, when the rooks and nits had a large numbers advantage (something like n-176, r-151, b-116  iirc) and were dropping hangars at every bishie base and basically steamrolling everything in sight.  A cesspool of lameness.
