Why do I even bother

I just want an answer about the whole AI thing. I think it would be fun to find out.....Anyone??

Personally I love the "Devil's Brigade"...they provide me with a huge amount of entertainment every night I am in the MA. I love getting PMs from their amazing leader out of nowhere. I love the way they group so close together and dont move when you go to attack them. I love that they don't feel the need to improve individually within the game. Dallas is mother, Dallas is father, he will lead you to "victory". When you "win" so much, there is no need to improve. Please keep doing what you do. The game just wouldn't be the same without you guys. I would suggest recruiting more members though. I was on Sunday night and only saw 20 of you on roster. I don't know if you can reach your long term goals with such a small number.

The 200 comment was a separate rant from hordes and I shouldn't have even posted that portion, I am not a complainer and I don't very often monitor 200 because the complaining and pi@@ing contests there are just silly. As far as A countyman with alt using the low guys as bait, I find 80% of the time that occurs the country switching squads are usually the culprits since there is a certain sense of loyalty to fellow countrymen for those that don't switch (with a few exceptions).

Obviously you have no idea what the "country switching" squads are made of. Instead of being limited to just one sides thoughts and ideas, we see each side for what it truely is. All sides are more alike than different.

We are loyal to the green side.... no matter what chess piece it is.

Actually we don't actively recruit.  As far as getting my scalp... well I was oiled, had deacked your field and was outnumbered 3 to 1.

Its funny, the Germans and Japanese complained when the Allies struck with overwhelming force as well. Seems after a few complaints, the "rules" of the war were changed for those that couldn't find a good dogfight or tank battle <sarcasm font

I fly exclusively Bish and was on for about an hour last night, died about 20 times and got few kills because of overwhelming numbers........it's just a game. In the face of overwhelming odds I upped to defend bases over and over that we were clearly going to lose.....free planes and the girls I meet don't care what my k/d is on AH. And honestly, it makes me better when the odds aren't so lopsided.

As much as you dislike the hordes, I dislike the "gamers" that just want a good dogfight on even or their terms. Usually a pair parked 5k over my head complaing on 200 that the pony at A36 is a sissy because it won't engage in a fight where it is at a clear disadvantage. They need to come down and meet me co-alt, co-E...... I digress............... Couple of suggestions;

1)Furball Lake-All the digfights you want without all the hastle
2)Go DA someone
3)Go get some therapy, hypnosis maybe.......it's just a game

BTW, I like to get in above a horde and find I get many kills of the preoccupied base takers.

Now this guy has a clue rake and has used it!

Actually it was designed for practice for the main meat of the Game... The Scenarios and Snapshot campaigns.  Unfortunately with my rotating schedule, I don't get to participate in the scenarios and snapshot campaigns very often.  They are the real meat and potatoes of just what the real Aces High is about!  You can't get any further realism of being in combat during WWII without a time machine than we have available here! The MA is just an everything goes arena!

Just fly into their horde and see how many you can get. They will rarely fight...especially on their way to a target. They are like a herd of gazelles....they have safety in numbers, but the outer guys are sitting ducks for the Lions. I routinely do this and many times it has ruined their "mission", or at least delayed it a bit...especially if you can find their goons. They are like robots in the way that they attack. No creativity and no adaptability. It makes me wonder if they are all remnants of HiTec's AI bots actually....ghosts in the machine that HTC cant stop. They are multiplying more and more each day... The only answer is to bring the temple down on our own heads!!! PULL THE PLUG SKUZZY!!! BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!

...who am i kidding?? HiTec's bots were much more challenging.

And you guys may be an exception, I haven't had the opportunity to fly with you but historically I find side switchers more of a hinderence than a help. And I do fly with knits and rooks at furball lake, you are right there are many awesome folks in the AH community. I just like the loyalty aspect of sticking with my peeps through good and bad, thick and thin.

Uptown, I understand the frustration, but it is their 15 bucks. However, there are some knights that are finding ways to beat them. The best way is to beat them to their game of capture the base. They cannot win if you know what base they are going after. When you know just be ready to face them off. You do not have to have to have even numbers or alt advantages. They cannot fight back and when they do it they are really bad at it.

V-tards would not last long in FSO.

we've always tried stirring up a fight away from the hordes by taking a few attack planes, killing radar and working the town. not to take the base, but to look like a base-take push is starting and get a response. these days the usual response is every 88/AA position filled and a few wirbles ... yawn

I tried that myself on the trinity map the other day. Bish and knights (my current team) we're gangin the rooks. Took it upon myself to start a fight with the Bish. Upped my D-40 fully loaded and attacked a base. Wiped out ord, radar, and half the field ack and took a fuel hit that put me down. Zero response from Bish. Upped again with 10 rockets and 1 500lber. Flew back @ 5000ft hoping for a fight. Killed every single hard gun on the base and in town. Dropped 6 buildings with my lone bomb. No response not even an 88. Flew back to base beggin knights to stop the gang in the east and start the fight in the west. No response.
The gangs are rampant on every team and it does get tiresome. Keep saying we need to go to two teams. At least the gang would be honest and ENY would be a factor.
