Track ir trirtest4.exe
« on: April 06, 2012, 12:19:50 PM »
have a new test version that I hope fixes the Track Ir Issues.

Please download this file directly into your aces high folder and then run it instead of running Aces High.

http://downloads.hitechcreations.com/trirtest4.exe

Everything should be as in test3 except gunners should now function correctly . test 3 gunning would not work in most planes and vehicles. Please download and test.

Shows how much I gun, I never thought to test them.  :lol   The 8" ship turret really cranks around fast since the last time I tried it.

I tested TIR with gunner positions in aircraft, ships, vehicles, and field guns. Everything works properly.

Everything I have flown so far seems to be working great, no problems yet.

Centering in the 110C doesn't seem to be taking me to the F10 saved position.  Ki84 isn't either.

I tested the A6M Family, The P40 family, the P38 Family & the F6F. All checked out. I also checked out the ship guns. They too were in good working order.

Note on MODE 2 (Realized this with ship guns)
At one point in the past, I had my mouse, AND my yolk, both configured to controll the turret at the same tim while in mode two. Now, I can only have one configured. Anyone know when this changed? or can point me to the trhead that is talking about this?

Both work for me. Make sure you started the right version of the test file.

You know what, when the map changed I shut the game down for a few minutes and forgot to run the tritest when I got back into the game.

I retract what I said about the Ki and the 110C

Simple fix. Rename the test file aceshigh.exe and use it until the update.

It was a path issue. My Aces High is not running from the normal folder. For some reason it is installed at the root of my C. Unfortunately, when I run the fix it gives me an error about the game not being in the normal installation directory.

What is the default installation directory for AH? I can create a Junction there.
