Compass, map and watch and GPS
The rest is just gravy...hunting knife, hatchet, matches, etc...

I like playing on 3rd person servers but hate the ones that have Nameplates and cross hairs as well. Nameplates and cross hairs are easy mode; sort of like arcade "flight sims".

Me as well I never play on those servers. 3rd person is ok but the rest are not any fun.

be nice to find a damn guillie suit, i've been camping out berezino's apartments hoping to get one, until then I am staying away from PVP on large servers.

Working on an M4CCOSD as well, I have an M4CCO just need the SD part :D

As for sniper rifle, M107 makes a pretty nice bang, as in it lets every player within a town know you have a nice big gun, thing is though even foot shots still kill :D

If you guys that are in need of some gucci gear want to I might be able to score a few ghillies and M4SD's from the  epic stash's being found up in the hinterlands on some servers up north. Of course you will have to meet me up in the recon areas and I can supply you guys with some good gear. Typically I am finding these things on some of the older servers and they are in camps all along the northern and western edges of the map. Drop me a PM and I will gladly connect with you guys in game to help out.

I've been farming residential buildings all week, nothing..

I take all the trash loot, dump it 150 meters away, wait 10 minutes go back.

Really sucks

If you want the Gucci kit the best way (other than finding someone's tent) is to scout out fresh helo crashes or killing guys that already have it.  Personally, I like the Enfield, 1911, Chezk vestpack, and Combats.
