Spain just broke the trend. Don't forget this is the same team that Won the 08 euro cup the 10 world cup. This spanish generation has never been beaten except for the Confederations cup.  :(

They proved me right today. Spain 2 France zip. France is knocked out of the cup. Also France hasn't had much of a chance since Zidane retired.

 :rock Spain!

Congrats to Spain.....fantastic side.

Gonna be edge of the seat stuff with England today.
Never know what to expect from them, they're always commited but sometimes look lost.
After the fight back against the Swede's I hope they believe in themselves.

C'mon England

Well England do have Rooney back. It should be a good game. But Italy do have some unpredictable players so I have no idea what is gonna happen.

I will be cheering England on though. Hopefully they can do better then they did in the world cup 2 years ago.

Extra time: England seems too anxious at midfield when they get the ball.  A little 1 touch football can keep the Italians honest.

It needs to be, England don't have the players not by a long shot, but they can win it by good tactics and defense. If they tried to play pretty football they would get torn a part. Its not always the best players that win a game. They look very strong mentally almost like dare I say it Italy  :lol
