That 38 looks amazing.  Heck I may be able to convince my entire Nomad squad still left on AW to come to AH with a 38 like that.  BTW, we have been and always will be a P-38 Squad

Gorf, Bong's paint scheme was "Marge", a picture of his wife. PUTT PUTT MARU was flown by MacDonald. Bong, MacDonald, and McGuire were all Medal of Honor winners from the same fighter group, the 475th FG.

I'm not much of a P-38 fan. I mean I do like the aircraft. Just not in flying it online in mock WWII aircombat    But now even *I* am drooling to try this plane out.

The article was very nice over all. Very upbeat and heaps of praise in my eyes for the work of the crew at HTC.

I never have considered myself much of a P38 fan myself either, but that is one fine piece of work. The scale of all the different parts of the plane looks dead-on.

Excellent work on graphics guys.

Congrats Nate... this is simply an astounding work of art... phew...

I noticed on the BB that's a plane from the 475 FG (Pacific Fighter Group)... to bad... would have loved those Black and White D-day markings on the wings

Nate I want to put in an order for 4 of those beauties for JG2... I'll pay with VISA..   (hush hush... don't let weazel hear this)
