Brady,

When I shoot a chute, I'll tell the pilot I did it if he gets on Ch 1 to complain.

I think the idea of nurturing the "Chute killing is unethical/insulting/no-PC" has somewhat been beat to death. The only reason people can even remotely get upset about it is because they are still allive to complain afterwards. That means you weren't killed. That means a little animated graphic of a parachute was shot on-line.

Time to differentiate from what is allowed in a game and real life.

Brady. I think you're missing the point. This is a game, it's not real life. chivalry and <cough> honour are all part of the online persona "act". The chute could Mother Theresa's handle on it and if I think it should go away I'll do it. I'll butterfly and scramble that bastidge hanging in mid air with as many rounds as it takes.

That being said. I shoot chutes if they bail near my base that THEY are attacking. Too many punks like to loiter in the silk or hang around on the ground giving posresps for thier buddies incoming. You may not do that but enough do to make your wishes to be a swinging pickle in a harness became inconsequential due to a peck or two of bad apples.

Course, if you really had a problem with the "virtual" <cough> immoral practices of chute shooters, you and the others offended could always hold a "virtual" court, try the "virtual" war criminal and then "virtually" hang his bellybutton out behind a "virtual" prison.

I shoot the little guy hanging from the bottom end of the chute.

I don't think the impunity is a factor, I try to take credit for every chute shot in the arena, but some smart guy usually figures out some of them are opposite sides of the map.

Besides, anyone who does not have a true bond with their plane and would jump out of her just because she's hurt is a traitor and deserves to be shot.

if I'm in the area , it was me that poped your chute . You usually hear who it was after the kill , chuters whine alot , thats why I shoot em

Two guys have tried it on me this tour. Both times I survived and they hit the groud a bit harder than I did.
