I would rather get my landline back than get an iphone.  same goes for a windows phone.  at work both iphone and windows phones are both known as windows phone, because you gotta be close to the window to use them.  but nobody has a problem with android phones.  then again most people have verizon android phones.

how can you know that? I can publish my PP directly onto our beamer via wlan from my ah wait you called it icrap, can you do it too?

And why there is so much hate noir? Is it only because your nexus was so damn cheap, or is there so much hate againt Apple because they are pretty successfull?

Doesen't matter at all, there are people who buy the products, so the company is doing great, even more if you are the most successfull company on planet earth, belonging to the stock market

I have no idea you're talking about, anyone can use random initials and sound knowledgeable.

I don't hate apple, I hate the weakness of the people believing anything apples says, just out of laziness. Closed ecosystem is like living in a camp by choice, while paying for a 3 stars hotel. These people are downright scary.

Being successful doesn't mean being the best. That is what Apple taught me. Apple was revolutionary in their compilation of copying, but that was in 2004.

Used to have an iPhone, and it was fine. Now I have a HTC Titan, Windows 7.5 phone and it is fine. Also have an old HTC Desire as backup, it's Android, and it's fine.

Droid.

Why would I want to buy a phone from a company that is already two years behind what the company has created?

Apple is about stealing your cash. That is all.

SpI/phones??? Not in my world.. Simple cells are bad enough..
Reinstalling dedicated landlines, moving away from cellphone..

We have a shielded box that the phones go in at home..
No RF in or out, unless we choose to allow it..

You can borrow my hat if you like
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

I'll keep my GZone Commando thank you very much. I want a tool. Not a toy
the Commando fits the bill perfectly and I can do things with it most of you cant with your cutsie phones like this

In fact a couple of weeks ago I dropped it, then tossed it several times into the deep end of a full sized swimming pool. I was at a picnic and was showing someone that I could dunk it in water with no ill effects and it slipped out of my hand. So I sent one of the kids down to get it. So impressed were people. They asked me to do it several more times as newer people showed up.

The "What are you? Nuts?" looks on people faces are priceless when they watch you toss a perfectly functioning smart phone into a swimming pool with no aftermarket "tough" case to protect it. Even better are the "No blanking way" reaction when it gets retrieved and still works perfectly.

I live a tough life. Maybe if I sat behind a desk punching a keyboard all day or attending corporate meetings. I could make due with a cutsie phone. But everything I have gets wet, dropped, battered, bashed, dusty, dingy and dirty. And can be exposed to the extreme heart of a rooftop, or the very wet and cold snow. Custie phones just wouldnt survive me. These phones are like the old Timex commercials "Takes a lick'n and keeps on tick'n.

Does it have ALL the features that cutsie phones have? No. but it does have most of them. And the features the cutsie phones have I dont and wouldnt use anyway.

Iphones and some of the others are great for women. and they are in fact a great womans toy. But I dont need a toy. I need a tool.
This fits the bill perfectly

Meets military specs
MIL-STD 810G for: Immersion, Rain, Shock and Dust Resistant, Vibration, Salt Fog, Humidity, Solar Radiation, Altitude, Low and High Temperature Storage.

And forget any negatives you may have read int eh reviews. I havent found one to be accurate.

Same here Karaya, what rom are you running? I'm using the VXL 1.0 (Vortex Libetrated).

Lambo

Liquid ICS v1.6 Beta1.   It gives an older phone Android 4.0.4.   I highly recommend it, glad I did it, because the bloatware is gone.

since this thread has degenerated into an anti-Apple bonerjam - I have an iPad, because I can get all the navigational charts for the 50 states for $70 a year (plus georeferencing using the built in GPS, to boot) plus not having to mess with maps when I'm flying is awesome. It's a tool to make my life easier.

As soon as Garmins app for the Nexus 7 becomes as easy to use and user friendly as Foreflight though I am gonna switch.
