Drone's not matching livery in film editor
« on: November 05, 2012, 05:49:08 PM »
Good evening,

I've just flow in DGS 5.  My first experience of it and it was awesome!  For some reason when reviewing the film in the film editor my drones aren't matching my skin.  All the other bombers are flying matching skins.  Is this something unique to me or a bug in the film viewer HTC is aware of?  During the mission I kept an eye on my drones and they were in matching skins.

At 3hrs and 85Mb the file is a bit too big to e-mail!

Many thanks for proving so much fun... despite heavy wife ack!

Enable other planes skins.  They should match then.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Other plane skin is enabled.  My skins matched in the DGS when flying, just not in the film editor.

I used to have this problem.  I no longer do but have no idea why.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

It could be a resource issue.

Just a guess.  Send me the film and I'll see what shows up on my screen.

Thanks

For an .ahf file of that size you must have filmed for like two hours ;)

I think Skuzzy doesn't need the whole film. You can cut down the film lenght to just a minute or two in the film viewer and save that short part only. That would cut down the file size enormously.

Please do what Lusche suggested.  Just trim any section which shows the issue.  Also note, watch the trimmed version as well.  A film that big might be the issue itself.

I recorded the full 3 hour sortie from DGS!  Just copied off a minute of the film to a seperate file.  It must be a file size issue because the schemes came out fine in the clip, but still not matching on the full film.

I am however still getting the formation about me vibrating back and forth.  I recall seeing that issue elsewhere though...

Thank you!
