The last time we had a real snow on Christmas here (eastern Long Island) was in 2001. Maybe 6" and it wasn't expected. 2010, the day after Christmas, we got 26" of snow. That was a major Nor-Easter. So, in November of 2011, I bought a commercial grade snow blower, capable of eating two feet of snow. However, we had only 5" all winter 2011/2012. It worked great, but I could have gotten by with the shovels. This year, we had another 5" a few weeks ago, I just used the shovel. I am, however, ready for the next blizzard. A Christmas snow storm would not be unwanted. My Jeep can navigate 2" of snow without drama....
My regards,
